Hello friends. Welcome to Friday Mixtape number 179. It’s a blizzard out there today. I hope you this mixtape keeps you nice and warm.
I took this photograph at Burning Man. It features a giant mechanical fire breathing octopus called El Pulpo Mecanico. The fire can be played like a musical instrument and each of the octopus’ tentacles move up and down. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. The piece was created by Duane Flatmo. Download the high resolution version of this photograph. (8MB) Here my photos from Burning Man.
This week we are going to support Yelle. So please buy her music and visit her website.
